CHNB 17 is a brand operated by ASIKNI TRADERS, a sole proprietorship of Arjun Singh (“we,” “us,” or “our”), registered in India under GSTIN 01FVAPS9845F1ZE. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit chnb17.com or order from us, how we use it and the rights you have over it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and the Information Technology Rules, 2021.
1. What we collect.
We collect the following information directly from you when you create an account or place an order:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Shipping and billing address
- Order history and preferences
We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Payments are processed by Razorpay, which receives your card and UPI information directly through their secure systems.
We also collect anonymous usage data through Vercel Analytics (our hosting provider). This includes information such as page views, country, device type and referring website. No cookies are used for this and no individual user is identified.
2. How we use your information.
We use your information to:
- Process and fulfil your orders
- Send you transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, refund notifications)
- Respond to your questions or complaints
- Comply with tax, accounting and legal obligations in India
- Improve the Site and our service
We will send you marketing or newsletter emails only if you explicitly opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by writing to us.
3. Who we share it with.
We share the minimum necessary information with the following third parties, only for the purpose of running our service:
- Razorpay — for payment processing
- Shipping partners (for example Bluedart, DTDC, Delhivery, India Post or Shiprocket) — to deliver your order
- Vercel — for site hosting and infrastructure
- Resend or similar email providers — to send transactional and (with consent) marketing emails
- Government authorities — when required by Indian law (for example for GST audits or court orders)
We do not sell your personal data. We never share it with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Cookies.
We use only essential cookies that are required for the Site to function correctly (for example, to keep you logged in and to remember the items in your cart). We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.
5. Data security.
The Site uses HTTPS encryption end to end. Payment information is handled by Razorpay under PCI-DSS standards and never touches our servers in raw form. We restrict access to customer data within our team to those who genuinely need it to fulfil your order.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a data incident that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable Indian law.
6. Where your data is stored.
Our database is hosted with Neon in Singapore. Site hosting and email delivery may also involve servers outside India. When your data is transferred outside India, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard comparable to Indian law.
7. Your rights.
Under the DPDPA 2023 you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccuracies
- Withdraw consent and request deletion of your data
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf
- Raise a grievance about how we handle your data
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@chnb17.com. We will respond within thirty days. Note that we may need to retain certain data (for example invoices) to meet our tax and legal obligations even after a deletion request.
8. Children.
The Site is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. How long we keep your data.
We retain your data only for as long as needed to fulfil orders, support you and meet our legal obligations. Order and invoice records are kept for at least six years to comply with Indian tax law (GST). When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted.
10. Changes to this policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If the change is significant, we will notify you by email if we have one on file for you.
